Mass of Christian burial will be 10a.m. on Saturday August 18th at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Deer River for Beverly "Bunny" J. Visitation will be Friday August 17th from 4-7p.m. at Carroll Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the Funeral Home on Saturday. Rev. Steve Daigle will officiate. Bunny J. Castellano was born on October 6th 1937 to Clifford and Daisy (Crowe) Moore in Grand Rapids, MN. She married Paul Castellano of Holman, MN on April 18th, 1959. After they were married, they moved to Marble for a few years before eventually moving to Minneapolis in 1961. In 1972, she and her family moved to East Bethel where she lived most of her life. Many may remember her from Ben Franklin Crafts in Cambridge, Minnesota Fabrics in Minneapolis, St. Francis High School in St. Francis, and Snyder Drug Store in Blaine. Bunny received her private pilots license in 1993 with her oldest daughter, Kim. Her and Paul would fly around locally with their 1959 Piper Tri-Pacer. After retiring in 2004, her and Paul moved to Deer River. She was affiliated with St. Mary's Catholic Church in Deer River and volunteered as a gift buyer for Deer River Hospital. Bunny had a strong faith and met many people in her parish. She had a contagious laugh and a mischievous grin. Bunny enjoyed traveling around the United States with her husband in their motorhome. She also enjoyed embroidery, sewing, craft making, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Paul of 59 years; children, Kim (Al) Garber of Isanti, Greg (Wendy) Castellano of East Bethel, Tim ( Michele) Castellano of Sartell; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
